On the evening of July 24th, after a heavy downpour, the Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture Grand Theater hosted the magnificent artistic performance "Singing the Silk Road" as part of the 2019 "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Colorful Yunnan Ethnic Costume Festival."


The event not only comprehensively showcased the exquisite clothing and accessories from various stages of the "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Colorful Yunnan 2019 Ethnic Costume Festival," but also featured art troupes from five countries: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. They joined forces to present five vibrant song and dance programs filled with Southeast Asian charm, including "Apsara Dance," "Happy Lao People," "Ethnic Sediment," "Thai Traditional Dance Collection," and "Charm of Vietnam." These performances elevated the "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Ethnic Costume Design and Image Ambassador Competition" to a new climax. The enthusiastic participation of these five Southeast Asian nations signifies that the "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Colorful Yunnan Ethnic Costume Festival" is taking a step towards internationalization.

It's understood that the 2019 "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Colorful Yunnan Ethnic Costume Festival" comprises 14 series of activities across four stages: "launch, ignition, climax, and going global," running from February to December 2019. This "Silk Road Colorful Clouds - Ethnic Costume Design and Image Ambassador Competition (Finals)" marked the climax of the Costume Festival.
